Together with about 100 local churches we organized a four-day Gospel Festival in Arusha.
The city of Arusha, with a population of just under 300,000, is located in northern Tanzania on the plateau of the great Rift Valley, a ridge that runs from Syria to Mozambique.
Arusha is also called 'the heart of Africa' because the city is located exactly halfway between Cape Town and Cairo. According to the locals, the clock tower in the center is exactly halfway between these two cities, but that is not true: the real 'halfway point' is 25 kilometers outside the city.
This has been our fifth missionary tour in Tanzania, all around the Kilimanjaro area.
Every day the field was filled with thousands of souls who received the message of grace, love and hope through the finished work of Christ with open hearts. God's word was confirmed by signs and wonders. People came to witness instant healings. Many were also freed from dark forces and received a new life in freedom.
Sunday after our last service we were allowed to count just under a thousand souls who accepted Jesus as their savior and redeemer! We were also allowed to distribute 275 Bibles to new believers.
